Cruise ship visits at record high at Station Pier

​Station Pier is about to host a record 110 cruise ship visits over the 2017-18 cruise season.

Sun Princess was the first ship of the season, arriving on Thursday 12 October. November sees the activity at Station Pier increase including a full house again for the Melbourne Cup period with three ships berthed there and one at Victoria Dock.

During the season, 50 visiting ships will stage turnaround visits where a full complement of passengers disembarks at the end of a cruise and another full complement embarks to start a new cruise.

While December to March is the busiest period, this season extends into June with Pacific Explorer arriving on 6 June 2018 for an overnight visit to round out the schedule.
