Victorian Ports Corporation (Melbourne) (VPCM) started operations on 1 November 2016.

Victorian Ports Corporation (Melbourne) (VPCM) is a new statutory authority created by the Victorian Government following the successful completion of the lease of the commercial operations of the Port of Melbourne.

As a government owned entity, VPCM’s responsibilities include the management of commercial shipping in the channels in Port Phillip Bay, waterside emergency and marine pollution response, and the management of Station Pier as Victoria’s premier cruise shipping facility.

Vessel Traffic Services and the role of the Harbour Master will play a vital role coordinating safe navigation for the 3000 commercial ship calls at the Port of Melbourne each year.

Our new website has all the essential operational information for commercial shipping including forms, publications and links to service portals. And, of course, the popular cruise ship schedules covering the current and future seasons.

This site will grow over the coming months as we add more information about our organisation and activities. Please visit again to learn more about us.

For information about the commercial operations of the port, please visit the Port of Melbourne website on www.portofmelbourne.com.
