Commercial ships have a choice of shipping agents to provide husbandry / port services at Station Pier. Three agents currently specialise in providing services to cruise shipping lines.

The following shore excursion agents offer a wide range of tours and excursions to popular tourist destinations in Melbourne and its hinterland.
They also coordinate passenger transfers during turnaround visits.
Shore excursions include city sights and shopping tours, Yarra Valley wineries, the Puffing Billy train, sheep station excursions and the famous penguin parade at nearby Phillip Island.
